Art Glass Bead – Blue Veined Leaf

One-of-a-kind, Blue art glass veined leaf with matte finish personally signed by artist "William Berth".

This bead is great worn alone horizontally on a necklace or it can be placed on a bead enhancer and hung vertically. It would also be wonderful used as a focal bead in a custom beaded creation.

These hot furnace lusterware art glass beads are hand shaped on a mandrel and tooled to this design.  The actual color of the bead is determined by the maker after subjecting the bead to metal salts. It is then flame treated which develops degrees of reflectivity giving the bead either an iridescent, satin or matte finish. Gifted artist, William Berth, uses only the finest raw material on the planet, including Silver and Gold, when formulating the glass.
